Die Reise ans Ende der Komödie oder: Wer zuletzt lacht, lebt am längsten (AT)
RambaZamba Theater, Milan Peschel
Since 1992, RambaZamba Theater has existed, bringing together professional actors with and without disabilities on stage. Now the freshly renovated Prater is proud to host the inclusive RambaZamba Theater for the first time, in a production directed by Milan Peschel. Milan Peschel is an actor, writer, musician, painter, director and a very gifted comedian. His career kicked off at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. His credits include numerous films and TV series, among them are Die Känguru-Chroniken and Doppelhaushälfte.
Die Reise ans Ende der Komödie oder: Wer zuletzt lacht, lebt am längsten (working title) is his third collaboration with the RambaZamba Theater. The story is about trying to make the impossible possible, and about filming a movie whose story is so incredible that it is considered unfilmable. The theatre pros from RambaZamba Theater are, however, quite used to accomplishing even the most impossible task with flying colours and exhilaration. The audience is witness to how a committed community, amid ruthless outbreaks of violence, injustice and other criminal acts, conspires to make clever use of a theatrical coup that spreads fear and terror among the neoliberal guardians of the status quo.
