Writer, artist, and performer Souhaib Ayoub writes in his novel Le Loup de la Famille (The Family Wolf), set against the backdrop of his hometown of Tripoli, about people who manage to transcend the boundaries between genders, generations, the sensual and the supernatural. In his debut novel Hundesohn, Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç writes about a young man torn between online dating and sex, everyday racism in Germany, his love for his grandparents, and his longing for Hassan. In their conversation, Souhaib Ayoub and Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç explore how desire and literature shape and condition one another.
