Two hosts, one guest, a screen, a piano, a guitar, and an audience who appreciates a good sing-along. Aiming to create a space for analysis and entertainment, the lines between talk and music, between the stage and the audience are blurring…
Our guest Yasmin Polat is keen to tease out our pop-cultural fears. In her podcasts she’s told us what we’re missing out on (FOMO), and how we keep getting duped (Skandal Skandal). Now she wants to throw light on the goings-on in our homes. Then again, she tries to calm and comfort us. In her debut novel Im Prinzip ist alles okay she sets out to free her female protagonist from the vicious cycle of cross-generational violence. We will join her by exploring whether music and singing along at the top of our voices can help to find self-love.
